Hazel Soliman, D.D.S.

Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry

Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Hazel Soliman joined our practice in October 2009 and is very excited to be part of our office. Because her last name is pronounced the same as Dr. Josh, she is happy to be referred to as Dr. Hazel by her coworkers as well as her patients. She attended college at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and obtained her degree in Biological Sciences.

She then attended dental school at UC San Francisco to complete her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). She then moved to the University of Southern California for her pediatric dental residency. During her training at USC, she was able to train at various children’s hospitals and treat both healthy and medically compromised children.

Dr. Hazel’s goal is to work with each individual child and to build a positive attitude about dental health that they can carry until they are adults. She focuses on prevention and building a strong dental home so that the need for fillings can be avoided. Unfortunately, some children have cavities and restorations are necessary. Some children are naturally apprehensive and her goal is to treat them in the most gentle manner as possible. She has always loved kids and finds it very fulfilling to be able to put them at ease.

In Dr. Hazel’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching new movies, trying new restaurants, travelling, and snowboarding.
